to do FINALE Choreography for ALL Company dancers.

Please block off these 3 days for choreography.

Per your company contract:

4) Choreography & Rehearsals
A. Any Company Member who misses ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY will not be allowed to perform in the routine, however, should learn and understudy the routine. C’est la vie. It’s ok!!
B. Absences from rehearsal for a particular routine may lead to exclusion from the routine at the discretion of the teacher.
C. Tardiness or Early Dismissal from choreography or a rehearsal may lead to exclusion from the routine.

It is also imperative that you are in your regularly scheduled class the week following choreography.

Miss Madeleine will also be choreographing PARANOMIA for select Senior Company Members and Junior/Senior Company understudies.

The studios are closed February 15-February 20.  Classes resume on Monday, February 22.

Dance Camp will be held at the WARWICK STUDIO this summer.

DANCE CAMP I:                     JULY 19-23, 2010

JUNE BUGS     AGES 2 – 4      $75.00/WEEK

LADYBUGS     AGES 5-6        $160.00/WEEK

BUTTERFLIES AGES 7-9        $160.00/WEEK

DANCE CAMP II:                    JULY 26-30, 2010

JUNIORS         AGES 9-12      $260/WEEK

SENIORS         AGES 13 &up  $260/WEEK

*anyone interested in auditioning for a CDDS Company should do so during DANCE CAMP II. 

If you are interested in auditioning for Company, please speak to your teacher.

BANQUET

The Dance For Art banquet to celebrate the acheivements of dancers who have performed for 5 years or more is SUNDAY, MARCH 28, 2010 at the West Valley Inn.  Tickets go on sale MARCH 1, 2010 at the studio during regular hours.  You will be receiving information in class!

WICKED amazing class!

Wicked Cast Member, Al Blackstone, taught 2 master classes at the Warwick Studio on Monday, January 4, 2010!  Students from all 3 studios took advantage of this amazing opportunity!  Thank you Al!

(Dancers will have a run-through at the Civic Center at 5:00, parents are not allowed in at this time. Doors open to the public approximately 1 hour prior to the game. )

Thanks to DFA, Dancers will perform a BRAND NEW Routine choreographed by CDDS Teacher,
Providence College Dance Team Coach, and WNBA Solar Power Dance Team Choreographer, Andrea Ricci!

The Dancers will perform during Half Time of the PC vs. Seton Hall Basketball Game! What a great opportunity to perform at the DUNKIN DONUTS Center, Providence, in front of potentially 12,000 people!

Class Size

A minimum of SIX dancers is needed in order for a class to take off. If you have registered for a class, and there are not SIX students by October, you may be combined with a comparable class and age group, as the class would be cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
